One of two separate pieces located at this address in Bloomfield, Paul's Tryptych is three separate Quilt Art blocks placed on a door on the upper part of an outbuilding on the former studio property of Paul Ross Woodworking.
The art is located at 212 Main Street (Hwy 33).

The door features three traditional-style blocks in various patterns and colours.

This "block", and its companion block, " Grandma's Autumn Fan" are just two of the over 150 examples in the Prince Edward County Quilt Art tour gallery. A link may be found here: (visit link)
Your Visit:
When I spotted these pieces I just had to check them out further. As I was doing so I met the artist herself, Lynn Ross, wife of Paul Ross, owner of the woodshop. We talked at length about the art, and she recounted with pride the history behind them. Sadly, she and her husband are leaving the County for a return to Newfoundland, after some 40 years here. However, he art will stay behind as a continuing reminder :)
