EN: The Erlach-Velda House stands near the banks of Lake Morat in the village Praz.

The estate consists of three buildings and a large walled garden. The main building is a two story Gothic house with massive pilaster strips and a traditional local wooden gable cladding.

I could not find any detail of its history, but it belonged to the noble family of Erlach and was used as their autumn residence. The family was first mentioned around 1300 and was one of the most notable ones in the Bern area. They owned dozens of castles and mansions throughout the region.

Le domaine se compose de trois bâtiments et d'un grand jardin clos. Le bâtiment principal est une maison gothique de deux étages avec des bandes de pilastre massives et un traditionnel revêtement de pignon en bois.

Je ne trouvais aucun détail de son histoire, mais il appartenait à la noble famille d'Erlach et servait de résidence d'automne. La famille a été mentionnée pour la première fois vers 1300 et était l'un des plus remarquables dans la région de Berne. Ils possédaient des dizaines de châteaux et de manoirs dans toute la région.
