This Bench can be found on Lezayre Road (A3) opposite to the main entrance to Milntown Estate and Gardens.


The wooden bench has a slatted seat and a vertically slatted backrest and two arm rests.

The rectangular plaque of the bench is inscribed as follows:
'IN LOVING MEMORY OF BOB CORLETT (12/07/1924 - 23/11/2007)
A VETERAN OF THE FLEET AIR ARM 1942 - 1945
WHO LIVED AND WORKED IN RAMSEY FOR MANY YEARS.

The bench is set in front of grassy area and is close to a bus stop. The seat offers excellent views to the east and west along the Lezayre and is set opposite the entrance to Milntown Estate and Gardens, which Sir Clive Edwards asked "be maintained as a place of historic interest for the benefit of the public."
