This trail is near the entrance to the park. It is where the former road went.

There are a few very large trees on this trail. It is also known for spring flowers. You can park at the ranger's station to get to this trail. The trail is 0.6 miles. It is flat, easy walking.


"Chenango Valley State Park is an ice age wonder. Its two kettle lakes, Lily and Chenango, were created when the last glacier retreated and left behind huge chunks of buried ice which melted to form the lakes and bog." (visit link)
