He was born on January 12, 1867 in Kingston upon Hull, England and died on October 4, 1918. He was killed in action at Champagne-Ardenne, France in World War I. He attained the rank of First Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps. His Medal of Honor information and citation is: HULBERT, HENRY LEWIS
