I was visiting friends at S. Padre Island, TX. The local news was on and during the weather report, the weatherman mentioned the ISS would be passing over at about 9:00 pm tonight. I did some quick research and discovered I could Waymark the ISS Pass from my location if I could find a partner. More research disclosed that The Snowdog in Oklahoma City, OK., and Benchmark Blasterz in Dallas, TX were on the same ISS Pass. A quick email was sent out to each.
The Snowdog observed the ISS Pass at a Max Altitude of 45° to the SW at 21:05:35 with a Brightness of -2.7.
I (8Nuts MotherGoose) observed the ISS Pass at a Max Altitude of 49° to the NE at 21:05:35 with a Brightness of -3.0. 17 seconds later, the ISS faded into the Earth's shadow at an Altitude of 47°.
