The two storey Stawell Post Shop was opened in March 1875 replacing an earlier weatherboard building from 1860, the postmaster and family lived on the first floor, the Post Shop is open weekdays 0900 to 1700 and Saturday 0900 to 1230 for a wide range of services including Passport applications
