Lors de la conception du bureau régional du groupe financier BMO une signature architecturale unique a été développée afin que l’immeuble reflète le prestige de l’institution.
L’immeuble à bureaux de 80 000 pieds carrés comptant six étages sera situé sur le boulevard Saint-Martin, près du boulevard Daniel-Johnson au centre-ville de Laval.
Afin de construire un bâtiment performant et respectueux de l’environnement, il a été muni de divers dispositifs qui lui permettront de devenir le premier bâtiment sur l’île de Laval à être certifié LEED V4.
Une attention particulière a été portée à l’orientation des volumes du bâtiment afin de maximiser l’apport en lumière naturelle.
Les façades en panneaux seront composées de céramique ventilée qui auront également comme rôle de décomposer les gaz d’échappement automobile.
En ce qui a trait au verdissement, un toit terrasse accessible aux usagers est prévu. Celui-ci ainsi qu’un stationnement étagé semi-enfoui augmenteront la superficie végétale du site afin de diminuer l’impact des îlots de chaleur. Un système de récupération des eaux de pluie est également prévu pour tout le site.
La construction du projet débutera en septembre 2017!

When designing BMO Financial Group’s regional office, a unique architectural signature was developed to ensure that the building reflects the prestige of the institution.
The 80,000-square-foot, six-storey office building will be located on Saint-Martin Boulevard, near boulevard Daniel-Johnson in downtown Laval.
In order to build a high-performance, eco-friendly building, it has been equipped with various devices that will enable it to become the first building on the island of Laval to be LEED V4 certified.
Particular attention was paid to the orientation of the building’s volumes in order to maximize the contribution of natural light.
The paneled facades will be composed of ventilated ceramics, which breaks down the automobile exhaust.
As for ecological objectives, a green roof terrace accessible to users is planned. This, along with a semi-buried staged parking lot, will increase the plant area to reduce the impact of heat islands. A rainwater harvesting system is also planned for the entire site.
Construction will begin in September 2017!
