County of well: Franklin COunty
Location of well: MO-T, across from firehouse, Labadie
Built: 7-16-1949

This old, native stone, draw well, is along side a creek
It does not show on Google, but the creek is there, and it had flowing water when I visited.

The stones that I recognize are: Chert, Limonite, Pyrite, Quartz, quartzite, Mozarkite.

The well, itself, has been closed off with boards mortared in, inside about two feet below the outer edge.
The bar, which was once the horizontal for the pulling upon which the rope wound, is still present, but the crank arm, and rope and bucket are gone.

Visit Instructions:
Please share a self-made picture of the Draw Well and tell us something about it. Did you taste the water? You do not have to be in the picture, neither does your GPSr.
