The smallish metal sign, on the 'Terrain' 2½ track, has the following information:

Water gum
(Trisaniopsis laurina)

"Water gums like to root here in the rocky creek bed. They are smooth-barked with dark green leaves and are often multi-stemmed with yellow clusters of flowers in summer. Most water gums lean downstream as a result of periodic floods."

There are quite a few useful Flora Signs along the Bomaderry Creek Track, and most aren't graffitied like this one, so a lot easier to read. Enjoy the walk, and be educated.
