The statue is in the French garden of the castle of Eu, it is a reproduction in polymer resin by the molding workshop of the Réunion des Musées Nationaux, a marble work of imperial time (I and 2nd century AD)
Entering in full march, she advances the left foot - only the tip of the right foot, thrown back, resting on the ground. His right hand grabs an arrow in his quiver worn over his right shoulder. The left arm is largely restored; the left hand currently holds a bow (fragmentary) and rests on the antlers of a deer (modern addition).
Thus, the movement of the shoulders, pointing to the right, is the opposite of that of the hips, pointing to the left, in an X composition. A tree trunk serves as a strut against the left leg, which indicates that the prototype was to be in bronze.
Artemis is crowned with a diadem, her wavy hair being tied at the back of the neck. She wears sandals, a chiton (tunic) and a himation (coat) wrapped around the waist and slung over the left shoulder, a detail found on most of the Greek or Roman statues of Artemis.

La statue se trouve dans le jardin à la française du château d'Eu, c'est une reproduction en résine polymère par l'Atelier de moulage de la Réunion des Musées nationaux, d'une oeuvre en marbre d'époque impériale (Ier et IIème siècle après J.-C.)
Saisie en pleine marche, elle avance le pied gauche — seule la pointe du pied droit, rejeté en arrière, reposant sur le sol. Sa main droite saisit une flèche dans son carquois porté en bandoulière sur l'épaule droite. Le bras gauche est largement restauré ; la main gauche tient actuellement un arc (fragmentaire) et repose sur les bois d'un cerf (ajout moderne).
Ainsi, le mouvement des épaules, orienté vers la droite, est l'inverse de celui des hanches, orientées vers la gauche, dans une composition en X. Un tronc d'arbre sert d'étai contre la jambe gauche, ce qui indique que le prototype devait être en bronze.
Artémis est couronnée d'un diadème, sa chevelure ondulée étant nouée à l'arrière de la nuque. Elle porte des sandales, un chiton (tunique) et un himation (manteau) enroulé autour de la taille et passé en bandoulière sur l'épaule gauche, détail que l'on retrouve sur la plupart des statues grecques ou romaines d'Artémis.
