This is one of two culverts at this intersection, both constructed in 1939 by the WPA.

This culvert is located at the intersection of Broadway and Sorghum Mill Road and runs north-south just west of Broadway. The culvert is not functional at this point as the north end of it has been closed off with asphalt during a road repair. The south end of the culvert is exposed.
This is a concrete tunnel, approximately 3 ft. high by 3 ft. wide, and the open end of the tunnel is at the southwest corner of the intersection. A WPA shield shows that the culvert was constructed by the WPA in 1939.<p<>
