From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for 1.6 miles to the intersection with FR15. Continue 1.8 miles WSW on FR15 to the intersection with FR1510. Travel generally W about 1.0 miles on FR1510-100 to the quarter corner on the right.
Type of survey mark: 3-1/4" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 6"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is N, about 2610' from the centerline of FR1510-100 and SE, about 12" from the corner post of a fence which runs N and W. There are PROPERTY BOUNDARY and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT signs on a U-post which bears S, 33" distant. Found a snag and a 10' broken off stump with burned metal signs still attached. The bearing tree which was originally in the SW quadrant had fallen directly on top of corner marker. I bucked the log and moved it enough for photographs.

What property is this mark defining?:
private property W from the corner, else Deschutes National Forest land; see also USDI-Bureau of Land Management, Field Notes of the Remonumentation of Certain Original Corner Points, Township 15 South, Range 9 East of the Willamette Meridian in the State of Oregon; Survey Completed August 2, 1966
