From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for 1.6 miles to the intersection with FR15. Continue 1.8 miles WSW on FR15 to the intersection with FR1510. Travel generally W about 1.0 miles on FR1510-100 to the quarter corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on steel pipe; rising 5" in a mound of stones

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is S, about 60' from the centerline of FR1510-100. There is a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign on a U-post which bears N, 24" distant. Found a ponderosa pine with a partly healed blaze, yellow BEARING TREE tag and LAND SURVEY MONUMENT sign on the backside. The other bearing tree, with metal signs still attached, is down.

private property W from the quarter corner, else Deschutes National Forest land;
