It would be very easy to miss this Community Commemorative plaque, as it above, and to the left of the main entrance to the Bomaderry Train Station platform, over two metres off the ground. It reads:
This Plaque Commemorates
100 Years of
Rail Transport
Between
Kiama & Bomaderry
2nd June 1893 to 2 June 1993
& was presented to
Mr A. Barber Station Master
Bomaderry - Nowra
on 30/5/1993
by Lord Mayor Mr M. Atkins
Bomaderry Train Station is 'the end of the line'. "The original platform building was destroyed in a fire in 1945 and rebuilt in the inter-war functionalist style the following year". Wiki: Bomaderry railway station
