FR Le lac de Serre-Ponçon est un lac artificiel situé dans le sud des Alpes françaises à la limite des départements des Hautes-Alpes et des Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. Il a été créé par la construction d'un barrage sur la Durance, deux kilomètres à l'aval de son confluent avec l'Ubaye.
La barrage mis en eau en 1960 a une superficie de 28,2 km², d'une profondeur maximum de 90 m et d'un volume de 1,272 km3.
Ce panneau permet de situer Port Saint Pierre sur le lac.
EN Lake Serre-Ponçon is an artificial lake located in the southern French Alps at the limit of the departments of Hautes-Alpes and Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. It was created by the construction of a dam on the Durance, two kilometers downstream from its confluence with the Ubaye.
The dam put in water in 1960 has a surface of 28,2 km², a maximum depth of 90 m and a volume of 1,272 km3.
