From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for 1.6 miles to the intersection with FR15. Continue 2.2 miles WSW then SSW on FR15 to the intersection with FR1512. Travel generally W on FR1512 for about 1.0 miles to the intersection with a dirt road on the left. Walk generally S on this road for about 0.6 miles until the road peters out, then continue SE through brush, about 320' to the quarter corner.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" aluminum cap on aluminum pipe; rising 4" in a mound of stones.

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The quarter corner is on a hillside covered with manzanita and Ceanothus. There is a PROPERTY BOUNDARY sign on a U-post which bears N, 28" distant.


What property is this mark defining?:
private property W from the quarter corner, else Deschutes National Forest;
