The church was built in 1921 & features a bell tower & mature gardens. It is heritage listed with the NSW Office of Environment & Heritage (visit link) which describes it as:

"Gothic style church of rough hewn stone with a corrugated iron roof, on which the finial are stone crosses. The Cedar doors on the porch came from the church of St James Cudgegong, which was demolished to make way for Windamere Dam".
