In Boston, within the Cedar Grove Cemetery, is this grave marker for Katy Desmond Hayden, which is bearing the image of an ice skater.

Cedar Grove Cemetery is located near the southern edge of Boston, bounded by Granite Avenue, Milton Street, Adams Street, and Butler Street, and also by the Neponset River Greenway pedestrian walkway. The entrance is at the intersection of Milton and Adams Street.

The grave is in roughly the center of the grave on the east side of one of the cemetery graves.

The marker is a dark, almost black, granite, with engraved letters and image. The top part has an outline of a female ice skater with her back arched, arms raised high, and one foot off the ice. Below that is "HAYDEN." Below that is

"Katy Desmond
Dec. 31, 1941 - Feb. 16, 2016
Bob Hayden
Apr. 8, 1942 - Feb. 25, 2017

Additionally, Katy was inducted into the Bay State Games Hall of Fame in 2013 on the field of Fenway Park in front of a capacity crowd.
