This statue of Benjamin Franklin is located in front & to the left of the Old City Hall, School Street, in the heart of Boston.

The status designed by Richard Saltonstall Greenough was dedicated in 1856. Franklin attended school at this site when it was the nation's first public school.

The bronze reliefs displayed on each side of the plinth, feature, different stages of Franklin's life.
