At the corner of St. Paul Street and Bernard Avenue sits "The Working Man", patiently waiting for the bus, hard hat on his knee and tool box at this side.

The "Statue on the corner of Bernard and St. Paul" is named The Working Man and has apparently been there for quite a number of years. It has also been a BookCrossing Zone for quite a number of years, ever since When Kambia Elaine Flew in from Neptune, by Lori Aurelia Williams, was released into the urban wilderness on Tuesday, May 18, 2004.
The Working Man is one of several works by Denis Kleine on display in Kelowna and area. This work is very much lifelike and very detailed. It makes one want to say "Hi" and strike up a conversation.
