FRANCAIS

ENGLISH

While the creation of a railway line between Limoges and Angoulême was decided in 1845, it was not until April 26, 1875 that the line was operated until the Monjovis trainstation. The connection between the Monjovis trainstation and the Benedictines station did not open until one year later with the crossing of the urban district of Limoges.
The Chinchauvaud street is then cut in half and a single-arch pedestrian bridge is installed to cross the new railway.
