Coolah Tops National Park is a beautiful landscape of giant grass trees, tall eucalypt forests and stands of huge snow gums.

The national park is situated 30 kilometres from the town of Coolah, with the last 15 kilometres mainly uphill on a gravel road which passes through grazing land. The sign designates the entry & you go from open grasslands to tall gums. The park protects about 10,000 hectares.

There are numerous, well sign posted walks of various lengths, two tracks suitable for mountain bikes & three campgrounds plus a cottage. The campgrounds are free.

There is no ranger station in the park.
