A.D.O.T. Marker LS 31034 - Florence Junction, AZ - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This silver colored metal disk is embedded in concrete at the fence line. It has an attendant witness post of steel painted white. Embossed on the face is A.D.O.T. Highway Div. LS 31034. The marker is located approximately .27 miles west of the western edge of Arizona Hwy.79 where the exit from U.S.60 merges onto 79 at an angle of 132 degrees. More interestingly, it is located approximately 127 feet east of the eastern edge of the runway for the historical Florence Junction airport which is delineated by the rocks rake to the side of the runway.
