The Chemin de fer de la Rivière Romaine (reporting mark CFRR) (in English, the Romaine River Railway) is a Canadian short line iron ore mining railway operating in eastern Quebec.
Rio Tinto owns and operates the 42 km long railway as well as the ilmenite (titanium iron) mine. This is the only way for mined ore to get to port and the only way for workers to get to and from the mine. As such, there are often passenger railcars on the line.
As you can see from the photo, a large berm and bridge are required for the railcars to reach the shipping port.
