FR Remollon, la cascade pétrifiante, les jardins et les vergers.
Une eau de source chargée de calcaire et de gypse dissous dévale la montagne et vient terminer sa course dans la vallée de la Durance par une chute du haut d'une falaise de tuf, au niveau de la fontaine pétrifiante.
On descend à pied un petit chemin sur 50 m environ et on arrive à la cascade qui coule sur une propriété privée. On peut passer entre la cascade et la roche, on peut passer de l'autre coté ... mais on ne peut pas descendre en contre bas de la cascade pour la photographier correctement.
EN Remollon, the petrifying waterfall, gardens and orchards.
A spring water laden with limestone and dissolved gypsum rushes down the mountain and comes to end its course in the Durance valley by a fall from the top of a cliff of tufa, at the petrifying fountain.
We walk down a small path about 50 m and we arrive at the waterfall that flows on private property. You can go between the waterfall and the rock, you can go on the other side ... but you can not go down below the waterfall to photograph it properly.
