A Department of Highways (Ontario Ministry of Transportation) 2" brass disk affixed to an 18" concrete post just off the easement to Hwy 33 (The Loyalist Parkway), south of Greer Road.
The post and disk are located in a small depressed area that has been recently clear-cut. There is off-road parking available within 5 meters of the post. The disk has the reference number "49" counter-stamped.
This mark is best found in Spring and Fall seasons. Summer and winter may be problematic due to dense underbrush and/or thick snow cover.
