The beautiful vertical, painted sundial can be found on the south facade of the Church of Saint Mary of the Assumption. The picture of the sun is the central picture of the sundial. Above the sundial there is is a Czech sign "Hodina jest abychom ze sna povstali (there is an hour to wake up from a dream)." On the painted ribbon around the sun is another quote in Czech "Ani beh slunce - ani beh luny - není mírou prorockého casu. (Neither the run of the Sun- neither the run of the Moon - is the measure of the prophet time)".
