"Funeral mass for Margaret V. "Margie" Marquart, 87, of Washington, Missouri will be held Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Francis Borgia Church in Washington.

"Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at Miller Funeral Home.

"Burial will be in the church cemetery.

"She is survived by two sons, Allen and wife Kathleen Marquart of Valencia, CA and Greg and wife Carol Marquart of Washington, one daughter, Karen "Toots" and husband Dennis Rathmann of St. Louis, one brother, Elmer Struckhoff, one sister, Rita "Moe" and husband Richard Marquart, all of Washington, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

"Memorials may be made to V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary or St. Francis Borgia Grade School Smart Board Fund." ~ Miller Funeral Home


"Evelyn B. Sieve, 89, Washington, passed away Friday, Feb. 12, 2010, in Washington.

"Mrs. Sieve, the daughter of the late Lambert Feldmann and wife Adelaide, nee Feltmann, was born Feb. 19, 1920, in Washington. She received her education from St. Peter's School. On April 26, 1941, she was united in marriage to Herman Sieve at St. Francis Borgia Church.

"Mrs. Sieve was employed by Deb Shoe Factory and Hazel. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herman Sieve; a son, Glenn Sieve; three brothers, Henry, Richard and Lambert Feldmann; and a sister, Ellen Maune.

"Mrs. Sieve is survived by one son, Ken Sieve and wife Carol, Sanger, Calif.; a daughter-in-law, Myra Sieve, Wilmington, N.C.; a brother, Edwin Feldmann and wife Dorothy, Arkansas state; two sisters, Laverne Maune and husband Norvin, Union, and Mercedes Althen, New Haven; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

"A Mass of Christian burial was held Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Washington, with the Rev. Mike Boehm officiating.

"Interment was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis. Memorials to Our Lady of Lourdes Building Fund, American Cancer Society and the charity of the donor's choice are preferred. The family was served by Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington." ~ Washington Missourian, 24 Feb 2010
