Bohna is also a member of Boy Scout Troop 650 where he earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2015. His Eagle Project was restoring two steamboat finials from the Steamboat Algiers for the Brownsville Area Revitalization Committee, to honor Brownsville’s steamboat building history. They are currently displayed by the Flatiron Building. He also earned Order of the Arrow in Scouting.
