From the Sisters Ranger Station travel generally W on US20 and ORE242 for 1.6 miles to the intersection with FR15. Continue 2.2 miles WSW then SSW on FR15 to the intersection with FR1512. Next travel generally WSW for 0.4 miles on FR1512 to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on iron pipe; rising 5" in a mound of stones
What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?: The quarter corner is S, about 80' from the centerline of FR1512. Found two ponderosa pines with partly healed blazes, yellow BEARING TREE tags and ATTENTION signs on the backsides.
What property is this mark defining?: Deschutes National Forest all around; also see Oregon Corner Restoration Record #0250, filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office;
