"Veterans Park is one of the most popular park facilities. It’s home to five shelters, baseball field, fishing lake, skate park, 12 horseshoe pits, three sets of playground equipment, two lighted basketball courts, two sand volleyball courts, concession stand, amphitheatre, 18-hole disc golf course and historic Scout Cabin." ~ City of Fulton

Originally this was built as Fulton Park and was re-named Veterans Park. Not sure when it was re-named, but park was built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corps.
