This wooden garden bench had been lacquered, but is in need of a few more coats. While the bench has a curved seat with six longitudinal slats, the backrest has only two horizontal slats, that frame the 17 vertical slats.
The wide brass etched plaque, is set into the top slat, held in place by four screws, and has the following tribute.
"A tribute to Jim and Molly Short with
love and gratitude from their family"
It has views borth to the edge of the Gardens and then the Harbour.
