As you leave Interstate-35 and enter the Turner Falls area, this monument is located next to the drive that leads to the Curio Shop, above Turner Falls. This is a rough-cut granite block engraved to honor this visionary. In 1925-26, using prison labor, the roads through this area were built. In 1930, the citizens of Ardmore honored their hero, George Ramsey.
