Obríství village is close to confluence two big rivers in Czcech Republic - Vltava River and Labe River.
In August 2002 the whole village was flooded by Vltava and Labe river.
The floods, which surpassed in size all the floods in the Czech Republic, which are kept historical records. 504 villages were flooded, a thousand homes and 73 bridges was destroyed and 220,000 people was evacuated. Prague was witnessed five hundred years flood.
