On the corner of Cedar Avenue and Farwell Street, Kootenay Savings has been there for quite a while, though for exactly how long we couldn't say as it's been here longer than we have. It became a bookcrossing zone on Friday, April 08, 2005 with the release of a classic, J. R. R. Tolkien's
The Hobbit. It was released on a shelf by the ATM machines on the west side of the building. So far it remains the only book to have been released at this place.
