An Ontario Department of Highways horizontal survey disk located at the intersection of Hwy 62 and County Road 28 in Prince Edward County, south of Rossmore.

A Department of Highways (Ontario Ministry of Transportation) 2" brass disk affixed to an 18" concrete post just off the right of way to Hwy 62.
The post and disk are located in a small wooded area to the south of a creek and east of the highway. There is off-road parking available within 10 meters of the post. The disk has the reference number "31" counter-stamped.
This mark is best found in Spring and Fall seasons. Summer and winter may be problematic due to dense underbrush and/or thick snow cover.
There is also a rare Department of National Defence Survey Mark on the concrete underpass just to the north of here.
