The burial vault for Glenwood Cemetery, located behind the cemetery chapel, was built in 1873 when it was still part of a farm. When the farm was converted to cemetery use in 1883, the vault was converted to a burial vault, still its purpose today.
It is constructed of limestone.
Access is from Fergusen Street. Park in the chapel parking lot and go in behind the chapel.
the vault is a designated Prince Edward County Heritage Property.
