"Bank of Nova Scotia" is faintly legible along the top of the building. It was The Embassy Night Club for the last several years, but that closed about a year ago. It is now vacant.

"Bank of Nova Scotia" is faintly legible along the top of the building. Its first reincarnation in the 1970s after being a bank was as The Overdraft Restaurant. It was The Embassy Night Club for the last several years, but that closed about a year ago after a fire. It is now vacant.

Vintage Hamilton's Facebook page has a nice photo of what the building looked like in 1954. Interestingly, the lions are a later addition. (visit link)
