There are plenty of gourmet burger places around, and they're great, but this is a greasy spoon, a classic burger joint dating to the 1950s where you sit at the counter on stools and they take care of you. The burger you want is the Belly Buster, a cheeseburger topped with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions, and Thousand Island dressing. They've got a quarter pound burger if you're a light eater, and a half pound if you need a little more.

In addition to their burgers, they've got sandwiches that have you wondering if they are or were competing with Top Hat or White Castle with the fish or chicken offerings. They also do grilled cheese and a BLT, and you can get hot dogs and coney islands, too.
