LEST WE FORGET
On the left-hand side of Soldiers Memorial Hall, behind the grey granite pillar, is a large bronze plaque, which lists over 500 locals who served in World War Two. [Unfortunately my photo of that was not sharp enough to do an accurate total transcription of it. [The transcription is included, as best as possible, in the World War Two Memorial waymark:
Guyra WW2 Honour Roll]
In front is grey granite post/pillar, which has an arched top, with a cross design. On the western side of it is the following inscription (which is carved in relief):
To
Honour Those
who gave
their lives
from Guyra
& District
1939-1945
Conflict
The only website I could find for here, is the Monument Australia Monument Australia one, which is basically for an acute-pointed 'pyramid' rock to the south of the Soldiers Memorial Hall, with a bronze plaque, with:
IN MEMORY
OF ALL WHO
SERVED
