The mural depicts community pride in active duty military, veterans and first responders who maintain our safety and freedom. Members and families participated in a Paint the Patch weekend. The design was unveiled at the Veteran's Day tribute in 2013. The completed mural was dedicated on June 5, 2014.

Description
An off center eagle on a blue background has the United States Flag as its left wing and the Texas Flag as its right. Hit holds a ribbon in its talons with "In God we trust". The ribbon extends to the left and has patches for United State Air Force and United State Coast Guard. A separate ribbon above has a patch for Lampasas Fire and Rescue.

The ribbon extending to the right has United State Navy, United State Army, State of Texas Lampasas County Sheriff, and City of Lampasas Police. The separate ribbon above has United State Marine Corp and EMS.
