A handy place to stop if on a longer trip than 'just' Grafton to Armidale, while traversing the northern tablelands. Across the road is the local General Store. There are two covered picnic tables, with one having a substantial shelter, that also has a map of the Waterfall Way (B78) and the significant natural and man-made places to stop along the way.
Yes, the entry to the Rest Area is 'only' dirt, but it seems serviceable.
