This memorial, a perpetual one was placed by the Salisbury Honor Guard in May of 1993 as a gesture to the community and to preserve the freedoms and justice for all. It is of a flag-plaza type and has metal seals of the branches of the armed forces in a roll type setting along with a dedication plaque. Serves are held during that same commission each Memorial Day in May each year.
