The Sulphur water tower is one of many built by the WPA in the 1930s.

This water tower is located at the intersection of E. Wynnewood Avenue and E. 11th Street. This is a residential area on the east edge of town.

The tank is cylindrical, with a metal dome top. It stands on four steel legs, and has the name of SULPHUR painted on its side. The white paint is faded and the tank is somewhat rusty, but it still works, after all these years.
