Floyd Norris Park covers a full city block, bounded by N. Muskogee Avenue, N. Water, E. Morgan and Spring Street. It has a playground area, a gazebo, and is on the route for the Historic walking trail through Tahlequah. The park has a Centennial clock, and a beautiful wood carving called "Where the Red Fern Grows", from a famous book which takes place in this area.

There are several historic markers, outlining the town's history. Throughout the year, numerous town events are held here, including a foot race and concerts. The park area is also available for rent for various private parties and celebrations. The land was owned by Floyd Norris from 1970 until 2006 when he gave the land to the City of Tahlequah. A visit to Tahlequah must include a stop at Floyd Norris Park.
