Edifice Gérard Dumont - Municipal Community Centers on Waymarking.com

The inauguration of the Pintendre Community Center took place on December 19, 2017, in Lévis.

The project, valued at $ 2.5 million, included the expansion of the Gérard-Dumont building, to add a multifunctional community hall that can accommodate 250 people.

 

In addition to the development of the community hall, several other works have been done to improve the visual appearance of the building and reduce its energy consumption. The renovation of the structure, insulation, exterior cladding and fenestration are some of the major achievements of the project. In addition, an elevator has been installed to facilitate the movement of users with reduced mobility.

 

The architectural firm Ncube was selected to design the new developments. The work, begun in April 2017, was carried out by Construction Jacques Dubois, while the engineering firm SMI Consultants was responsible for the structural, electromechanical and civil aspects of the building.

Le projet, évalué à 2,5 millions de dollars, comprenait l'agrandissement de l'édifice Gérard-Dumont, afin d'y ajouter une salle communautaire multifonctionnelle pouvant accueillir 250 personnes.



Outre l’aménagement de la salle communautaire, plusieurs autres travaux ont été effectués afin d’améliorer l’aspect visuel du bâtiment et de réduire sa consommation énergétique. La rénovation de la structure, l’isolation, le parement extérieur ainsi que la fenestration font partie des réalisations majeures du projet. De plus, un ascenseur a été installé pour faciliter le déplacement des utilisateurs à mobilité réduite.



La firme d'architecture Ncube a été retenue pour concevoir les nouveaux aménagements. Les travaux, débutés en avril 2017, ont été réalisés par l'entreprise Construction Jacques Dubois, tandis que la firme d'ingénieurs SMI Consultants était responsable des aspects structural, électromécanique et civil du bâtiment.
