The Deaver - Frannie War Memorial was placed in this small Veterans Memorial Park by the American Legion Post 50 in 2006. This is the second memorial placed at this location by the American Legion.
There is a small granite cairn in front that shows when this veteran memorial was dedicated. There is a nice raised triangular shaped flowerbed and a brick walkway leading to the memorial. The memorial is a three tier black granite plinth and four sided, it stands about 6 feet in height The names of these brave men and women are etched on three sides of the memorial. Attached to the front is a small plaques, transcribed as follows:
