The plaque reads:

November 9, 2007
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration
(NOAA) joins the City of Boulder in commerating the
science, service and stewardship provided to it's citizens by
NOAA. This commemorative marker recognizes NoAA's
historic roots that began in 1807 with President Thomas
Jefferson's creation of the survey of the coast,
later to become the Coast and Geodetic Survey, and
acknowledge the preeminent Earth system research
conducted in Boulder since 1950. Today NOAA's work,
worldwide and at the David Skaggs Research Center in
Boulder, continues to play a vital role in the Nation's economy
and in enhancing the daily lives of Americans.

This disc is an official NOAA geodetic survey marker which has
been accurately positioned to determine its precise latitude,
longitude and altitude. As part of the National Spatial
Reference System, this marker provides an accurate position
used for surveying, mapping, charting, and other scientific
and engineering applications.

Ironically, there is no PID number or other reference on the large NOAA marker or the commemorative plaque. Research has found that it is PID AI7562. Information about this celebratory disc may be found at (visit link) .
