[DE] "Das Koblenzer Tor wird auch „Burgpforte“ genannt und wurde um 1200 erbaut. Es sicherte die Burganlage, gilt als repräsentativer Eingang der Stadt und wurde ebenfalls 1689 im Pfälzer Erbfolgekrieg zerstört. Nach aufwendigen Sanierungsarbeiten strahlt das alte Koblenzer Tor im neuen Glanz."

[EN] "The Koblenzer Tor, which is also referred to as "Burgpforte" (castle gate), was built around 1200. It secured the castle and served as a representative entrance to the city. However, it was also destroyed in 1689, during the War of the Palatine Succession. The Koblenzer Tor was refurbished in 2012."
